This Friday, April 27 at 8 p.m. Tommy
Dorsey will perform at The Grand Opera House.
Now led by master trombonist Buddy Morrow, this Big
Band plays all the swing tunes that made the Dorsey
band one of the most-sought-after groups of the
swing era.
On Saturday, April 28 at 8 p.m. Medeski
Martin & Wood will perform. Emerging from New
York's downtown scene more than 15 years ago,
keyboardist John Medeski, drummer Billy Martin and
bassist Chris Wood have continually pushed the
boundaries of "alternative" jazz with their groove-
based sound and inspired improvisations. Sponsored
